DESCRIPTION:The 78th Annual Miss Barstow Pageant begins its journey to find the new Teen and Miss Barstow for 2017. This year's pageant theme is "Return of the Crown\," which is based on the "Star Wars" movies.\n\n\n\nThe April 29 event will be filled with fun and exciting. The open dance number\, which is choreographed by Jessica Ramirez\, is also based on the pageant's theme.\n\n\n\n\n\nOther pageant events and scholarship fundraisers that will be held are Fiesta Night at Rosita's from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday\; Pizza Night at Oggi's from 5 to 8 p.m. April 6\; and the Miss Barstow Fashion Show on April 8 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints\, 2571 Barstow Road. Fashion show tickets must be purchased in advance from contestants for $20. Doors open at noon and lunch is served before the fashion show.\n\n\n\nAdvanced tickets are available for the Miss Barstow Pageant for the children's division for $10. The Teen and Miss Pageant tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
